Symons's thesis is that some of the typical differences between men and women in sexual behaviors, attitudes and feelings are innate: identical rearing of males and females will not result in identical sexualities.
Brilliant. Evolution moves slowly and correspondingly this book is still valid in its arguments. A salvo fired at the nonsense of radical social constructionist approaches.
